• If you want to install your printer on your Chromebook over a wired connection, connect a USB cable between your Chromebook and printer.
• Follow the on-screen prompts for adding your printer.

INSTALL THE PRINTER ON CHROMEBOOK USING THE WIRELESS CONNECTION

• Now, select Advanced. In the Advanced menu, select Printers under Print and Scan.

• If your printer’s name appears under Available Printers to Save, select it and click Save. Check whether your printer appears under Saved Printers.

• If you cannot save your printer automatically, go ahead with the Advanced Setup Process.
• Next to the printer’s name, select Set up.
• Now, type your printer’s manufacturer name and model name. Then select Add.

• If your printer does not appear under Available Printers to Save, you need to add your printer manually.
• In the Name field, add your printer’s name. In the Address field, add your printer’s IP address. In the Protocol Field, add Internet Printing Protocol (for most of the printers, Internet printing protocol is the supported connection). In the Queue field, add ipp/print (for most of the printers, the queue is ipp/print).
• Select Add.
• If you cannot save your printer automatically, go ahead with the Advanced Setup Process.
• Next to the printer’s name, select Set up.
• Now, type your printer’s manufacturer name and model name. Then select Add.
• Check whether you can find your printer at the top, under Saved Printers.
