INSTALL PANTUM PRINTER WITHOUT CD:

Pantum printers are known for being user-friendly with some modern printing technologies. The perfect finish offers a seamless opening of the input and output trays, making printing easier. There are different Pantum printers that come in various shapes and sizes. They also differ in terms of features.

Let's say you already have a Pantum printer in hand, and it can do all the functions you desire. The first thing about the Pantum printer is to know how to perform a hardware setup.

This article is for users who do not know how to install the Pantum printer if the installation CD is not provided. The components inside the Pantum carton vary from one model to another. If your Pantum printer does not come with an installation CD, you have to install the printer through another method (downloading the driver from the Pantum support page).

Let’s assume you have performed the hardware setup for the Pantum printer. Here are the steps to install the Pantum printer without the installation CD.

DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER:

• Open the default browser on your computer.
• Click the address bar and type the URL for the Pantum support page.
• The Pantum support page will open.
• Click the field for Search Drivers by product name.
• Enter the printer model number in the provided field and click the GO button.



• On the next page, you will find the buttons for different operating systems.
• Click the Microsoft Windows button.



• Scroll down the same page and click the Download button for the printer driver.
• The printer driver for your Pantum model will be downloaded to your computer.

INSTALL THE DRIVER:

• Locate the downloaded file and perform a double-click to start the installation.
• Connect the USB cable to the already-set up Pantum printer and the USB port of your computer.



• In the installation window, select the language from the Installation Language drop-down list.
• Choose the connected Pantum printer from the Select Printer drop-down list.
• Under the Installation mode section, click the radio button for USB printer.



• Click the Install button.
• You will see the installation progress with a green bar.
• Ensure that you do not run any other application during the progress or turn off the computer.
• Wait for the installation to complete.
