EPSON WF-2630 TROUBLESHOOTING
The troubleshooting guide given below will help you in solving the common Epson Wf-2630 Setup problems like “printer printing blank pages,” “paper jam,” etc. Contact us if you need real-time technical assistance in solving your printer problems.
PRINTING BLANK PAGES
The printer printing blank pages is a known problem. This may occur when:
Your printer’s ink cartridges are running out of ink.
The print settings are configured wrongly.
An incorrect media type or size is loaded into the support.
The nozzles are clogged.
To fix the problem, perform the simple troubleshooting methods given below.
Replacing the empty cartridge
If all the pages of the printouts are blank, it means the ink cartridges are empty or low. To confirm it, check the ink levels of the cartridges using the printer’s screen or the printer utility.
Open the Epson Printer Utility on your computer.
The remaining ink levels of the cartridges installed on your printer will be displayed on the main screen.
Locate the empty or low cartridge and replace it.
Configuring the print settings correctly
Check to ensure that your printer is selected correctly in the Print dialog box.
If your document (that you’re printing) has two or three blank pages, select the “Skip blank pages” option to avoid printing them.
Choosing the correct media type
Check whether the recommended paper type is loaded into the support.
If not, replace it with the correct one.
Clean the print head
Check whether the printer’s nozzles are clogged by running a print head nozzle check.
If the nozzles are clogged, clean the heads to fix the problem.
PRINTER ERROR 0X60
The Epson WF-2630 printer error code 0x60 occurs due to so many reasons like:
F1 fuse is open
The cartridge board is damaged. (It occurs when ink spills on the head of the contacts many times).
Problem with the paper sensor, etc.
To clear this error:
Clean the sensor.
Repair the board.
Contact us to know the troubleshooting process in detail.
PAPER JAM
Clear the jammed paper from inside the printer by following the instructions given below.
Initially, cancel the print jobs if you have queued any.
Next, gently pull out the jammed paper from the paper support.
After removing it, raise the scanner unit.
Look for the jammed paper inside the printer.
Remove the jammed paper carefully if you find it.
After removing the jammed paper, lower the unit.
Reload the paper support.
Print a test page to check whether the paper jam problem is fixed.
If the printer prints the test page successfully, it means that the paper jam problem is fixed.
Otherwise, recheck your printer for the jammed paper and remove it.
First, try restarting your computer, printer and wireless router. To check if your printer is connected to your network: Print a Wireless Network Test report from the printer control panel. On many printers pressing the Wireless button allows direct access to printing this report.
The other most probable reason for the printing error is the connection between your computer and the printer. If you are sure that the transmission cable is working okay (tested the printer on another computer), then the problem might be the drivers. This can be the printer drivers or the USB port drivers.
Another common fail is over extrusion. Over extrusion happens when your 3D printer pushes out too much plastic too fast, causing a jam in the end of the nozzle. ... Make sure YOURu layer height is less than your nozzle diameter. Increase your cooling fan's power (this will cool the plastic and cause it to slow down)
WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup. It is a wireless network security standard that tries to make connections between a router and wireless devices faster and easier. WPS works only for wireless networks that use a password that is encrypted with the WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal security protocols.
