EPSON ET 4550 SETUP

Unpack your product box and take out all the items you received.
Your package includes the Epson ET-4550 printer, power cord, French control panel sticker, transportation kit, start here guide, ink bottles, and an installation disk.
Ensure that all the items are delivered without any damage.
Take off all the protective materials and packing tapes from your printer and its accessories.
Open the ink tank cover and unpack the ink bottles.
Open the ink tank's cap and fill it using the supplied ink bottle.
Repeat the process for all the ink tanks and ensure that you have filled the tanks according to the color indications.
Once done, close the ink tank cover.
Now, take the power cord you received and connect it to your printer's rear port and an electrical outlet.
Turn on your printer and set your preferences on the printer control panel.
Press the Start button on your printer control panel to start the ink charging process, and once it gets completed, you can load your paper.
Extend the paper cassette and move the guides to the far ends.
Take a paper stack and load it into the paper tray with the glossy/print side facing down.
Adjust the guides according to the loaded paper and reinsert the paper cassette into the printer.
Finally, extend the output tray and set the paper settings on the printer control panel.
If you want to set up your printer for the fax function, connect a telephone cord to your printer's LINE port and a wall jack. Then configure the fax settings.
In case you want to set it up later, choose the same on the printer control panel.
Before installing the required software, make sure that you haven't connected your printer and the computer yet.
Take the given CD-ROM and insert it into your computer's CD drive. Then install the driver on your computer by following the instructions.
